ANZAC Day, observed annually on 25th April, is a solemn day of remembrance honouring the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who fought and fell at Gallipoli in 1915. It also serves as a tribute to all servicemen and women who have sacrificed their lives in the service of their nations.
At dawn on the morning of 25th April 2026, as the first light broke over the Liveramentu Commonwealth War Cemetery, we gathered to commemorate ANZAC Day. In the stillness of the early hours, tribute was paid to those who served and gave their lives in the pursuit of peace and freedom. Their sacrifice endured in our collective memory.
