The VogueFest 2026 Grand Finale took centre stage on Friday, 28 August 2026, at the SLIIT Main Auditorium, Malabe, bringing together aspiring fashion entrepreneurs, student models, emerging designers and fashion enthusiasts for an evening celebrating creativity, confidence and innovation.
Hosted for the third consecutive year by SLIIT Business School, VogueFest serves as a practical platform for students of the BSc (Hons) Fashion Business and Management degree programme to transform classroom learning into real-world industry experience.
The journey began on 24 May 2026 with walking auditions and designer evaluations, setting the stage for an exciting journey towards the Grand Finale.
The evening featured a spectacular showcase of emerging talent, with participants competing for prestigious titles including Best Designer, Best Male Model, Best Female Model, Most Popular Male Model and Most Popular Female Model. The Most Popular titles were determined through audience interaction and social media engagement, adding an exciting dimension to the competition.
Adding further significance to the event was the Emerging Fashion Entrepreneur Award, created to recognise promising entrepreneurial talent and strengthen connections between emerging creatives and industry leaders.
VogueFest 2026 once again highlighted the power of fashion as a platform for creativity, entrepreneurship and professional growth, giving the next generation of fashion leaders an opportunity to step into the spotlight and make their mark on the industry.
