The SLIIT’s Got Talent 2026 Grand Finale was held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre in Colombo 07, bringing together talented student performers for an evening of music, dance and entertainment. Commencing at 6:45 p.m., the event featured popular Sri Lankan artists and personalities, including Romesh Sugathapala, Sanuka Wickramasinghe, Dinesh Gamage and Kaizer Kaiz.
Organised by the Faculty of Engineering Students Community (FESC), the competition showcased some of the institute’s most talented student performers following months of auditions and preliminary open-mic events. The grand finale provided a platform for the finalists to demonstrate their artistic abilities before a live audience.
In the singing category, Thillaraj Abinayan secured first place, while Vihangi Ranaviraja was named the first runner-up and Nishadi Subasinghe claimed the second runners-up position. Seth Rathnayaka received the Most Popular Singer award.
In the dancing category, Team Sankalana emerged as the champions, securing first place. Team Sapphires finished as the first runners-up and also received the Most Popular Dancing Team award, while Team Aura secured the second runners-up position.
The grand finale marked the culmination of the 2026 competition, celebrating the creativity, dedication and performing talents of SLIIT students. With a showcase of music, dance and entertainment, the event brought the competition to a memorable close at one of Colombo’s premier performance venues.
