The Commerce Society of Visakha Vidyalaya successfully hosted Revora ’26 – Annual Commerce Day on 6 August 2026 from 2.00 p.m. onwards at the Jeremias Dias Hall of Visakha Vidyalaya, bringing together students from many of Colombo’s leading schools for a celebration of commerce, leadership, and talent.
The event was graced by Mr. Yasas Hewage, Chairman of the Industrial Development Board (IDB) of Sri Lanka, as the Chief Guest, while Ms. Samaakhya Gajanayake, a Sri Lankan fitness coach, entrepreneur, and former decorated national athlete in rowing and water polo, attended as the Guest of Honour.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of awards and certificates to the winners of the various competitions conducted as part of Revora ’26, recognizing the outstanding achievements and talents of participating students. The programme also featured vibrant dance and musical performances, adding colour and entertainment to the occasion.
With enthusiastic participation from numerous leading schools across Colombo, Revora ’26 once again served as a dynamic platform that encouraged innovation, collaboration, and excellence among the next generation of commerce students.
