The 2nd edition of the ConnectEd Series, titled “After the Storm – A Conversation on Recovery, Rebuilding and Risk Reduction,” was hosted by Matthew Duckworth, the Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, at his official residence in Colombo.
Organized by the Australian High Commission Colombo through its Trade, Investment & Education division, the ‘Thought Leadership’ session brought together key stakeholders to examine disaster recovery efforts in the aftermath of Cyclone Ditwah. The forum featured insightful contributions from distinguished panelists and encouraged active audience engagement, fostering meaningful dialogue on rebuilding strategies, risk reduction, and long-term resilience in Sri Lanka.
