The Photography Club of Musaeus College took part in an engaging, hands-on photography workshop conducted by XtreamYouth on 15 October 2026 at the school premises. Commencing at 2.00 p.m., the exclusive session introduced the students to the fundamentals of photography, camera handling and digital image editing.
Moving beyond theory, the workshop gave the students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a range of DSLR cameras and the latest full-frame mirrorless camera systems, allowing them to explore professional photography equipment and understand its capabilities.
A key highlight of the programme was the practical session on exposure, where participants learned how to balance shutter speed, ISO and aperture to capture well-exposed photographs in different shooting conditions. With the Photography Club actively documenting intra-school events at Musaeus College, the session focused on developing the technical skills needed for effective event coverage.
The workshop also introduced the students to Adobe Camera Raw, providing an insight into the fundamentals of photo editing and how photographs can be refined and enhanced through post-processing.
Guided by the tagline “Learn. Practice. Create.”, the workshop combined technical learning with practical exploration, giving the young photographers an opportunity to strengthen their skills, build confidence and develop their creative potential.
Through this initiative, XtreamYouth encouraged the next generation of photographers to go beyond simply capturing images and discover the knowledge, creativity and attention to detail behind every great photograph.
