The country’s premier social entrepreneurship competition, The Hult Prize 2026 was successfully held on 10th May at the Commercial Credit Academy from 9am onwards. The prestigious event brought together over 30 outstanding student-led startups from across the island, providing a platform for young innovators to present impactful and sustainable business solutions addressing global challenges.
Participants competed for the opportunity to advance to the global finals of the Hult Prize, where finalists stand a chance to secure USD 1 million in seed funding to transform their ideas into real-world ventures. The event highlighted the creativity, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit of Sri Lanka’s next generation of changemakers, while fostering innovation and collaboration within the country’s startup ecosystem.
