Ladies’ College, Colombo, hosted AI Exsilium 2026, its ICT Day organized by the ICT Society of Ladies’ College, bringing together students from many leading schools across Colombo for a day of technology, innovation, learning, and collaboration.
The event featured Mr. Sanjeewa Wickramanayake, Chairman of the EWIS Group, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he shared valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence, while also speaking about his entrepreneurial journey and how he developed and built his company. His session provided students with perspectives on emerging technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and the opportunities available in the digital age.
A major part of the programme was the inter-school competitions, which challenged students to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, and ICT skills. The programme also featured an ICT quiz competition, providing an engaging platform for students to test their knowledge and compete with their peers.
Certificates were presented to the winners of the inter-school competitions in recognition of their achievements and participation.
Adding to the educational experience were a variety of fun and interactive activities, allowing students to learn, engage, exchange ideas, and network with fellow students representing leading schools across Colombo.
With technology and Artificial Intelligence at its core, AI Exsilium 2026 created a vibrant platform for young minds to connect, compete, learn, and explore the possibilities shaping the future of the digital world.
