“IDW Performance Night 2 – Friendship & Beyond” was held on the 23rd of May from 7:00 PM onwards at the Malalasekara Hall, Nalanda College. The event brought together multiple dance academies, performers, and choreographers from across Sri Lanka for an electrifying evening dedicated to dance, creativity, friendship, and collaboration.
Organized as part of IDW Sri Lanka’s annual performance showcase series, the concert was presented under the theme “Friendship & Beyond,” celebrating unity, artistic expression, and cultural connection through the power of dance.
The event was further elevated by the presence of chief guests Indian dancer, choreographer, and krump artist Shubhankar Gawade and Japanese-Korean urban dance artist YAN, whose participation added international recognition and inspiration to the showcase, bridging global urban dance culture with Sri Lanka’s vibrant performing arts community.
