Australia Day 2026 was marked on 23rd January 2026 from 6.00 PM onwards at the Residence of the Australian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, bringing together a distinguished gathering to celebrate Australia’s national day. Hosted by His Excellency Matthew Duckworth, Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, the event was attended by ministers, the Leader of the Opposition, ambassadors, and other eminent guests. The evening reflected the close ties and shared values between Australia and Sri Lanka, with memorable moments captured at the photobooth by Xtream Youth.
