EMPRESAS’ 25, the Annual Commerce Day of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo 08, was held on 9th July 2025 at the Wimala de Silva Auditorium, from 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Organised by the Commerce Society, the event marked the 25th anniversary of Commerce Day and was held under the theme “Reimagining Tradition,” which focused on bridging classic business values with modern perspectives.
The Chief Guest was Mrs. M.A.N. Daulagala, Senior Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Ms. Lakmali Priyangika, CEO of CA Sri Lanka, attended as the Guest of Honour.
The programme featured a range of student led performances, presentations, and discussions centred around contemporary commerce. The event was sponsored by CA Sri Lanka, whose continued support helped facilitate the success of this milestone celebration.
