Visakha Vidyalaya presented the 11th Education Seminar for G.C.E.Advanced Level Examination students 2018 based on the Japanese Language which was held on the 10th of March 2018 at the Jeramias Dias Hall, Visakha Vidyalaya.
Visakha Vidyalaya presented the 11th Education Seminar for G.C.E.Advanced Level Examination students 2018 based on the Japanese Language which was held on the 10th of March 2018 at the Jeramias Dias Hall, Visakha Vidyalaya.
The educational seminar was conducted by the Japanese Language Teachers Association of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka and the Japan Foundation in Japan. Mr. Tanaka Kiotaka the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Sri lanka graced the seminar as the Chief Guest.
The Honorary president of Japanese Language Teachers Association of Sri Lanka Mr. Dayasiri Warnakulasooriya, Mrs. Komatsubara Naho the Japanese Specialist Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya, Dr. Dilrukshi Rathnayake who holds post of the Head of Department Modern Languages at University of Kelaniya, Mr. Arai Masaaki the Principal of Colombo Japanese School and Mrs. Nayomi Wijesekara Culture & Information Specialist at the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka were present at the seminar as Guests of Honour for the event.
The seminar which went throughout the day from 7AM to 7PM was planned by the President of the organizing committee Ms. Heshandrika Perera and the Secretary Mrs. Dakshika Nonis, gave a broad knowledge about the Japanese Language subject to the students and informed them about the manner in which they should prepare and face the G.C.E.Advanced Level Examination 2018 which is to be held in the coming month of August.
