To mark the beginning of a successful year for Netball at SLIIT, 'AERIS TALENTA 2016' is the very first Invitational University Netball Tournament organized by the Netball Team of SLIIT which was held on 18th of June 2016 from 8.00am onwards.
To mark the beginning of a successful year for Netball at SLIIT, 'AERIS TALENTA 2016' is the very first Invitational University Netball Tournament organized by the Netball Team of SLIIT which was held on 18th of June 2016 from 8.00am onwards.
The opening ceremony was conducted with the presence of Manager, Physical Education Department of SLIIT Mr. Chamly Hettiarachchi.
Out of the invited universities, six teams were participated. University of Moratuwa, Kotalawala Defense University, South Asian Institute of Technology & Medicine, Visual & Performing Arts University, Sabaragamuwa University & South Eastern University were the teams.
Championship: Kotalawala Defense University (KDU)
1st Runner Up: Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT)
2nd Runner Up: University of Moratuwa (UOM)
