Sri Lanka Tourism hosted a special dinner on 29th September 2026 at Nuga Gama, Cinnamon Grand Colombo, welcoming a talented group of visual artists from India participating in a special Familiarization (FAM) Tour from 23rd to 30th September.
The evening brought together the visiting artists and representatives of Sri Lanka Tourism in celebration of the cultural exchange that has been at the heart of their journey across the island. Through their artistic perspectives, the artists have been exploring Sri Lanka’s rich heritage, sacred Ramayana sites, breathtaking landscapes, vibrant traditions, authentic cuisine, and diverse tourism experiences.
Held in the distinctive setting of Nuga Gama, the dinner provided an opportunity to celebrate the connections built through the tour and the shared cultural heritage between India and Sri Lanka.
As the FAM Tour draws to a close, the artists’ sketches, impressions, and creative interpretations are set to offer Indian audiences a unique artistic perspective of Sri Lanka, an island that continues to inspire creativity, discovery, and unforgettable experiences.
