The vibrant spirit of the Sri Lankan community was on full display this weekend at Sydney Bajawwa 2026. Held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Glenwood Community Hub, the premier event organized by the Nalandians in Sydney brought together generations for a spectacular night of cultural unity and high-octane celebration.
The energy inside the hall was electric from start to finish. The dance floor stayed packed all night as the live band TechTones delivered an explosive repertoire of classic Lankan hits and non-stop baila beats. Adding to the sensory experience, attendees indulged in a massive, authentic 13-item Sri Lankan buffet catered by Flavor of Ceylon, complete with unlimited traditional bites and mixtures that kept everyone fueled for the dance floor. The excitement peaked during the live raffle draw, where Spread Wings Travels gave away a coveted return air ticket to Melbourne to one lucky winner.
