The First Holy Communion Service of St. Lawrence’s Convent, Colombo 6, was joyfully celebrated on 8th August 2026 at the school hall. The solemn occasion marked a significant milestone in the spiritual journey of the young communicants as they received the Holy Eucharist for the first time.
Rev. Fr. Namal Nishshanka, Assistant Administrator of St. Anthony’s Shrine, Kochchikade, graced the occasion as the Chief Celebrant. Rev. Fr. Yohan Placi Fernando, Assistant Parish Priest of St. Lawrence’s Church, Wellawatte, was also present and assisted the Chief Celebrant during the Holy Mass.
The celebration was attended by the students, teachers, parents and members of the school community, who gathered to share in this special and faith-filled milestone in the lives of the young communicants.
