The eco friends combination, MIGA made name at COP 17 Climate Change summit in
Durban south Africa this December and is ready to launch in their motherland Sri Lanka
in January 2012.MIGA stands for the Make It Green Again organization that is being

the summit in behalf of Sri Lanka with the project being initiated and guided by Nilanka
Panthiararachchi (Nix) and Sudarsha De Silva (Suchi) of Earth Lanka. MIGA has an innovative
team who were able to accomplish this success by putting together their friends, one who
is a student architect Thejani Shalika (Thej), who got the story board running and upcoming
film producers Amila Indrajith (Indrajith), Niranjan Parasuram and Art Department creatively
handled by three University students of Visual and performing arts, Colombo 7 Pushpitha
Iresh, Manuja Basnayake and Nishan Senerathne. They created a unique set that they call
the EARTH Guardians that were transported to the thick jungles of Sinharaja for the shoot
and also brought to a waste land in Colombo that gave attention to many of their peers.
also they created rain in Nawam Mawatha that was results of crowds gathering as they
had social network updates with invitations and status comments as ”tomorrow 2.30pm
@ Nawam Mawatha bring your friends to witness the Earth spirit and her tears a life time
experience not to be missed”.
This Music video focuses on the sustainable living and was followed after a song lyrics
competition that MIGA organized during the early months of 2011 and which was judged
and audio produced by well-known music director Dilup Gabadamudalige. These youngsters
have made name as an environment friendly movement and kicked off their website as
well, www.makeitgreenagain.org with the touch of the button opened by the Ambassador
of South Africa and Minister of Environment Sri Lanka. Events and invitations for the 2012
climate change summit have opened doors for MIGA making Sri Lanka proud.
Sri Lanka will be able to view the music Video after their Official launch in January and
welcome everyone to go green with them as Sri Lankan youth are ready to make a change
on environment issues in Sri Lanka and globally through Make It Green Again Sri lanka.
