Make it Green Again
The eco friends combination, MIGA made name at COP 17 Climate Change summit in Durban south Africa this December and is ready to launch in their motherland Sri Lanka in January 2012.MIGA stands for the Make It Green Again organization that is being backed by the Environment Ministry, United Nations Information Centre of Sri Lanka and British Council and also many other environment organizations, Government and non Government sectors.

Nanastasia is a partner organization of MIGA and Nadeeka Maheswaran (Nadi Gaya) lead the production team to produce a Music video that was launched and presented at the summit in behalf of Sri Lanka with the project being initiated and guided by Nilanka Panthiararachchi (Nix) and Sudarsha De Silva (Suchi) of Earth Lanka. MIGA has an innovative team who were able to accomplish this success by putting together their friends, one who is a student architect Thejani Shalika (Thej), who got the story board running and upcoming film producers Amila Indrajith (Indrajith), Niranjan Parasuram and Art Department creatively handled by three University students of Visual and performing arts, Colombo 7 Pushpitha Iresh, Manuja Basnayake and Nishan Senerathne. They created a unique set that they call the EARTH Guardians that were transported to the thick jungles of Sinharaja for the shoot and also brought to a waste land in Colombo that gave attention to many of their peers. also they created rain in Nawam Mawatha that was results of crowds gathering as they had social network updates with invitations and status comments as ”tomorrow 2.30pm @ Nawam Mawatha bring your friends to witness the Earth spirit and her tears a life time experience not to be missed”.

This Music video focuses on the sustainable living and was followed after a song lyrics competition that MIGA organized during the early months of 2011 and which was judged and audio produced by well-known music director Dilup Gabadamudalige. These youngsters have made name as an environment friendly movement and kicked off their website as well, www.makeitgreenagain.org with the touch of the button opened by the Ambassador of South Africa and Minister of Environment Sri Lanka. Events and invitations for the 2012 climate change summit have opened doors for MIGA making Sri Lanka proud.

Sri Lanka will be able to view the music Video after their Official launch in January and welcome everyone to go green with them as Sri Lankan youth are ready to make a change on environment issues in Sri Lanka and globally through Make It Green Again Sri lanka.
