'Zyanya 2019', the annual social gathering of Visakha Vidyalaya 2019 took place on the 11th of November 2019 from 4pm onwards at the Jeremias Dias Hall of Visakha Vidyalaya.

It was an evening of dazzling glamour and glitz. The eager Visakhians pledged their everlasting sisterhood as they reminisced the past thirteen years. As they swayed to the beat of the music their hearts began to beat as one, in rhythm with the amazing tunes. The excitement and shared unity became almost tangible in the atmosphere, that night, under the stars. The celebration was attended by the principal, Mrs. Sandamali Aviruppola, deputy principals, present and past teachers and the students of the 2019 A/L batch of Visakha Vidyalaya.

Many entertaining items were included along with a pageant. After several competitive rounds, the crowning of Ms. Visakha 2019 served as the pinnacle of the event. The judging process was carried out by a seasoned panel of well-known personalities, Mrs. Caroline Jurie, Ms. Sabeetha Wanniarachchi, Mr. Suraj Mapa, Ms. Kishani Alanki Perera, Ms. Sajana Wanigasuriya and Mr. Tymeron Carvalho. There was an outstanding musical performance by the extremely talented Mr. Chandeepa Jayakody and Ms. Hirushi Jayasena and a surprise performance by Mr. Suraj Mapa.
