The Sinhala Literary Association of Visakha Vidyalaya held the annual cultural festival Yuga Sambawana 2018 on the 9th of March 2018 at the Jeramias Dias Hall from 2pm onwards.
Ravibandu Vidyapathy who comes from a line of traditional dancers and temple painters is an excellent dancer who is brilliant in dance genres existing worldwide such as Kathakali and is an internationally recognized percussionist as well. This great maestro who is the founder of both Ravibandu-Samanthi Narthayatanaya and Ravibandu Vidyapathi Drum Ensemble, was invited by the Sinhala Literary Association of Visakha Vidyalaya to grace the occasion as the honourable Chief Guest.

Yuga Sambawana 2018 reminisced the cultural changes which took place in Sri Lankan art and showcased the latent talents of the young Visakhian through vivid performances covering off dance, music, art and poetry.
