A red letter event in their school calendar, Vagangana, organized by the Sinhala Oratory and Debating Society of Visakha Vidyalaya, continues to be among the topmost debating tournaments in the country. Schools representing all parts of the country participated to witness their rhetoric skills in the event. We have forged a platform for the warriors of words to clash over the legendary Jeremias Dias trophy.In addition to the debating competitions, Oratory Speech Competitions were held on the 24th of January 2020 at the school premises.
