The Annual Science Quiz Day '18 organized by the Senior Science Society of Visakha Vidyalaya was held on the 19th of January 2018 from 2.00PM onwards at school premises.
The Annual Science Quiz Day '18 organized by the Senior Science Society of Visakha Vidyalaya was held on the 19th of January 2018 from 2.00PM onwards at school premises.
Forty schools including Ananda College, D. S Senanayake College, Nalanda College, Mahanama College, Musaeus College, Anula Vidyalaya, St Bridget's Convent and many more across the island, were invited to participate in the contest. The Annual Science Quiz Day intends in developing the science knowledge of the students and promoting the students' enthusiasm towards the wide sphere of science.
The participants enjoyed a productive day of learning and it was evident that the event contributed in advancing the innovative thinking capacity of the young minds . After a tough competition, Nalanda College and D. S Senanayake College achieved to reach the top scores and were selected for the final competition which is to be held at the Science Day of Visakha Vidyalaya on the 16th of February 2018.
