The Ministry of Public Relations and Skill Development of the Student Parliament of Visakha Vidyalaya held a workshop to explore Sri Lankan Tradition through Folk culture. The programme was held on the 31st of July 2018 at the Jeramias Dias Main Hall of Visakha Vidyalaya from 9AM onwards.
The Ministry of Public Relations and Skill Development of the Student Parliament of Visakha Vidyalaya held a workshop to explore Sri Lankan Tradition through Folk culture. The programme was held on the 31st of July 2018 at the Jeramias Dias Main Hall of Visakha Vidyalaya from 9AM onwards.
The event was graced by the presence of the renowned folk singer Mr.Sahan Ranwala and he educated the young Visakhians on the proud Folk tradition of Sri Lanka. It was a workshop held for primary students from grade one to four and they enjoyed the musical event.
The beautiful folk music gave the students a better exposure into the treasured traditional aspects of our country and the presentation by Mr.Sahan Ranwala succeeded in vanquishing the gap between the new generation and the local tradition.
