The general Knowledge day of Visakha Vidyalaya "Q & A - The Mind Extravaganza 2018" was held on the 22nd of February 2018 at Jeramias Dias Hall, Visakha Vidyalaya.

A number of school island wide such as Royal College, Ananda College, Rahula College Mathara, Anula Vidyalaya, Dharmaraja College Kandy and Ladies College participated in the event to test their knowledge and intelligence quotient.

The "Q & A - The Mind Extravaganza 2018" was graced by the presence of Professor Manjula Vidhanapathirana as the Chief Guest who is the Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of Colombo.

The competition proceeded by testing the students with a variety of questions covering diverse subjects and spheres such as Science, History and Geography along with Mathematics. All schools gave a tough competition to the participants of the other schools, and Richmond College, Galle succeeded to out pass the rest and win the competition at the general Knowledge day of Visakha Vidyalaya.
