Visakha Vidyalaya geared up the celebration spirit of Colombo for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year by organizing the Annual Avurudhu Fair which was presented by the Old Girls' Association of Visakha Vidyalaya on Saturday the 7th of April 2018 at Visakha Vidyalaya premises.
Visakha Vidyalaya geared up the celebration spirit of Colombo for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year by organizing the Annual Avurudhu Fair which was presented by the Old Girls' Association of Visakha Vidyalaya on Saturday the 7th of April 2018 at Visakha Vidyalaya premises.
The Avurudhu Fair 2018, which took place from 9am to 6pm consisted of a countless number of stalls, bringing to it's attendees every Avurudhu necessity of their choice from mouth watering Avurudhu Kavili to cloths, ornaments and many more. While the crowd shopped amidst the New Year songs and game, they headed over to the Photo booth of Xtreme Youth along with their best friends to get clicks of some of their fun poses this season.
A play area was arranged not only for the kids but also for the adults which gave a fun time to all bringing out the kids hidden within the grown ups. The Henna Mehendi stalls had a great demand from the girls and were fully crowded, for they designed beautiful hand patterns for the Mehendi lovers. A horror house was also put up, which did a great job in getting the goosebumps up of the spectators.
The Annual Avurudhu Fair of Visakha Vidyalaya was a great success and gave a wonderful shopping experience for the large crowd which walked in to the school premises last Saturday.
