The Visakhians took their skills back to the field at the annual sports meet of Visakha Vidyalaya that was held on the 6th of February 2019 at the St Peter’s College Grounds.

The Minister of Telecommunication, Digital Infrastructure facilities, Foreign Employment and Sports Harin Fernando graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. MP Harin Fernando witnessed the talents and strengths showcased by the young sportswomen of Visakha Vidyalaya and presented words of motivation that encouraged the students to take their skills to International Level.

The Houses competed well against each other and gave one another a tough competition to win the game. However, after a great battle in the tracks, Dawes house won the annual sportsmeet of Visakha Vidyalaya for the year 2019 while houses Weerasooriya and Pulimood secured the second and third places respectively.

Students who excelled distinguish performances in the sportsmeet were awarded and the team spirit of all houses were recognized and appreciated.
