It was yet again the time for those house colours to brighten the skies and all the cheering and roars to tremble the ground. The annual inter house sports meet of Visakha Vidyalaya '17 was thus gracefully held on Friday, the 26th of January 2017 at St. Peter's College grounds from 1.30 pm onwards. It was certainly an afternoon of energy, stamina and victory while Visakhians young and old, from all around the country had gathered together to cheer for their house for old times' sake and they sure had a wonderful time with renewed memories and of course the papare music. The winners were of course the proud Motwanians while Pulimood and Weerasooriya placed second and third respectively. 4th and 5th place went to Dawes and Jayathilake while the 6th place was Dias. However with the spirit of true sportsmanship, regardless who the winners were, all the Visakhians danced their hearts out together as one united school at the end of the evening and it was sure a heartwarming scene to watch.
