The Old Girls' Association of Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya presented 'Naada live in Concert with Sunil Edirisinghe' on the 17th of June 2018. The concert was graced with the presence of a large crowd to spectate a wonderful musical eve full of the soothing tunes of the musical veteran Sunil Edirisinghe.

The renowned Sri Lankan Classical musician Sunil Edirisinghe attended the event, and lighted up the evening with his melodious tunes and vocals. The music veteran has been recognized as an artist who comprise of one of the most irreplaceable talents in the local music industry. Thus, have been awarded many honorary rewards as appreciation for his service. He has won the presidential award for playback singing in 1983 for 'Maya Miringuva Pirunu Lo Thale' from Adhishtanaya, the Swarna Sankha Award twice for playback singing in 1988 for 'Thurulaka Hurathal' from Mangala Thagga and in 1990 for 'Walakulak Gena Muwa Karamu' of Saharave Sihinaya and also the Sarasaviya Award twice for playback singing in 1988 for 'Thidasa Pure' from Sandakada Pahana and in 2002 for 'Poronduwa' of Poronduwa.

Naada live in Concert with Sunil Edirisinghe featured a great list of songs of the singer from his number of albums such as Chandra Mandala, Sihinayaka Weli, Rosa Kusumak, Sandakada Pahanak etc.
