The streets of the Hills were painted Navy, Aqua & Gold on the 19th of February 2017 as the students and the alumni of Vidyartha Collage, Kandy set out in their 75th Anniversary Walk. The Walk commenced in the morning from the Gatambe Grounds and proceeded to the Nittawela Vidyartha Grounds.
From its glorious commencement in 1942 as an all male Buddhist institution in the fine Hills of Central Province, the school’s development has been rapid and steady, giving out the finest education curriculum.
The Walk filled the air with School Flags and the beats of Lankan Papare music. The concluding of the walk at Nittawela Vidyartha Grounds, was the beginning of the celebrations.The revelers enjoyed their eve of celebrating their Alma Mater with a vibrant carnival while dancing to the music of the DJs.
