We are a country where the students are given free education. But in some parts of the country, the quality, safety and the facilities that come with this free education sometimes create boundaries and segregations. We are a country where the students are given free education. But in some parts of the country, the quality, safety and the facilities that come with this free education sometimes create boundaries and segregations. In order to try and bridge this gap, the Interact Club of Stafford International School gracefully held SIS Walk and Fair 2017 on Saturday the 18th of February 2017, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The walk was themed as a walk for change as the youngsters who joined in had partnered with Authenticities Sri Lanka to make a change using all the funds raised from the walk as well as the after walk fair. They hope to visit schools that are less privileged and to provide the necessary support and facilities to uplift the standard of their education. These funds will also be channeled to renovate their school buildings and provide much safer environments which are more conducive for effective learning.

The day however was indeed happening as it was filled with lots of fun, games and entertainment all in the name of charity, as the bunch wanted to make the crowd feel good, while doing good.
