'Royalists On Stage' will present its audience with a unique experience, bringing all Royal College alumni in the music industry together.

Organized by the Prefects’ Council of Royal College together with the Probationary Stewards, the evening will see a stellar host of artists such as Santhush Weeraman , Dushyanth Weeraman, Ranidu Lankage, Iraj Weeraratne, Randhir Withana, Athula Adhikari, Chillie Thilanka, Hiran Thenuwara, Krishan Maheson, Mihindu Ariyaratne, Channa Perera and NAADRO perform onstage as one, for though they maybe different in genre and may possess their own styles, all of them share the same ardent passion for college.

Guest artists such as Bathiya Jayakody, Umaria Singhawansa, Ashanthi De Alwis will also perform at the event.

It will also serve as a platform as well as an inspirational initiative for the future generation of musically gifted royalists to share their talent with the public. To better demonstrate this, musical items from the Royal College Choir, the Royal College Orchestra as well as performances by those who were fortunate enough to have been selected via a professional auditioning process, will be presented.

The main objective behind the project however, is to raise funds for the renovation of the ‘Navarangahala’, a true monument within college premises.

This hitherto unattempted venture, will take place on the 9th of November 2013 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium from 4.00pm onwards.

Tickets will be priced at Rs. 700, Rs. 1000, Rs. 1500, Rs. 2000 and Rs. 3000 and can be purchased from Barista, Yamaha Music Center – Colombo 07, Sarasavi Book shop Nugegoda and Maharagama and the Royal College Union Merchandise shop.
