The one and only schools' choral musical in the island took the stage wondrously once again, presenting an amazing ‘Festival of Choirs’ on the 14th of September 2017 at the Bishop’s College Auditorium from 6.30 pm onwards.
The one and only schools' choral musical in the island took the stage wondrously once again, presenting an amazing ‘Festival of Choirs’ on the 14th of September 2017 at the Bishop’s College Auditorium from 6.30 pm onwards.
Throughout the years, Festival of Choirs has acquired a reputation for excellence, combining the very best of Sri Lankan talent, bringing together a blend of exceptional music and leaving the audience yearning for more. The largest school based choir concert featured the most leading schools island wide, showcasing the performances of Royal College, Ladies' College, Elizabeth Moir School , St. Sebastian's College, St. Joesph's College, Asian International School, Visakha Vidyalaya, Trinity College and the Canto Perpetua Choir of S. Thomas’ College, Mt.Lavinia.
Festival of Choirs, organized by the Western Music Society of Royal College gifted the crowd a spectacular evening of the most soothing melodies and favourite tunes. It was a celebration of talents on a fine Thursday eve, which unveiled the very best of vocals within the leading schools of Sri Lanka.
Festival of Choirs gave a true stir of beautiful music escaping the tired souls in the audience, into a blissful tranquil sensation.
