Adverto Economic Summit 2016 organized by Commerce Society of Nalanda College was held on 27th of June 2016 from 9.00am onwards at the School premises.
'Adverto Economic Summit 2016', organized by the Commerce Society of Nalanda College, was held on the 27th of June from 9.00 am onwards at the College Auditorium.
Organized for the noteworthy purpose of preparing a suitable economic and trading model for a prosperous Sri Lanka, the summit housed many key figures in the field of economics along with students representing a number of schools all around Colombo. The selected theme was discussed by way of an open forum and discussions conducted by students and academics alike.
The chief guest for the day was Doctor Janaka Fernando, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
While exposing school students to the way of the world, this event also paved the way for students and renowned scholars to intermingle and deliberate over the economic policies that currently govern the island, while discussing the potential for the new.
