The most anticipated street event in Sri Lankan Big match history "Golden Parade" was yet again risen crowding up the roads on the 9th of April 2017 commencing from 8.30am at Mahanama College.

The Golden Parade proudly proceeded to Race Course Car Park by 12noon and was followed by a thrilling after party.

The Unrivalled Ninth Conquer took its rightful place among Colombo School's franchise of parades and painted the city in Black, Gold and Silver. For parade is Mahanama's legacy, it's their throne.

The GP9 aligned with Battle of Golds -the greatest scuffle of March Madness, broke through the 'usual' to present the spectators with a parade of glory reaching epic new ventures. This year, the OBA of Mahanama College unwrapped best of both worlds, by six techno trucks with Djs and the traditional Gara Yaka conquering the golden stage. The skies of the heart of Sri Lanka were touched by fireworks as the bike stunts shook the grounds.

The crowd got to drive along their 'Dreams' as the high-end vehicles such as sports and modified cars decorated themselves in Mahanamian pride to embellish the parade.

A massive crowd of present and past Mahanamians joint the historical Golden Parade with their engine beast and stormed the roads like Lords with 'no man left behind'.
