The Annual English Day of Holy Cross College Gampaha, 'Explorarent '17' was held on the 7th of July 2017 at the college auditorium. The English Day took a new dimension through a sea voyage, they sailed searching for new talents of the crossians. The main target of the day was to motivate the students to face the new trends of the English language through overcoming their fear of speaking English in their daily activities.

The motto taken 'let's explore life through English' indeed was a challenge they surpassed in exploring the new methods of language teaching to make the students interested on language learning. It indeed was 'a ship to a new voyage' at H.C.C.
