Eximious Alaté, the annual social gathering of Good Shepherd Convent, organized by the class of 2k17, was held on the 21st of October 2017 in the school premises located at Colombo 13 which remarkably resemble the journey of 13 years of the School career, in the alma mater.

Eximious Alaté, which in latin gives the meaning 'lifted up eminently' was the theme for the day. After the long journey in the school career the students in the 4 Streams studying Bio, Maths, Commerce & Arts from the 3 mediums. Got together as they encountered to celebrate their glorious memories in the past years in which those memories were lifted up in an eminent way.

The occasion was held with the honorable presence of Rev. Sr. Geethani Mallwarachchi the superior, Rev. Sr. Renuka Silva the Principal, the sisters and the teachers with glamourous dancing items by both our sinhala and Tamil colleagues showcased the true shepherdian spirit on stage.

The event was much more enthusiastic in selecting the most popular teacher of the year and the 3 titles Miss Well Dressed, Miss Personality, and Miss Shepherdian for the year 2017.

The students spent the moment under their very own alma mater and with the hope of meeting again they lifted up eminently to reach their unknown destinations.
