Teen Invasion, an exposition of talented young generation of our country is organized by the Interact Club of Girls’ High School-Kandy. Many youngsters from numerous regions of the country representing a number of schools will be taking part in this contest. The objectives of this concert are to provide the talented youth of Sri Lankans with an opportunity to realize their capabilities and to utilize fund collected at this concert on community service projects identified by us.
Teen Invasion is usually held once in two years, but the Interact committee for the year 2011/2012 is determined to organize yet another exceptionally well organized talent show for the year 2012.Teen Invasion ’12 will be held on the month of June 2012 from 5.00pm onwards at the Constance Mallet Hall of Girls’ High School Kandy. The participants of this concert will be performing under the categories of Singing, Dancing, Band and Instrumental items. Awards will be given to the winners of each category while all finalists will be appreciated, providing the platform for the talented youth to showcase their capabilities and be appreciated.
Among all changes the other major change is that this year the audience would have a say of 25% as to who should be the 1st,2nd and the 3rd in all four categories,while 75% of the final decision is based entirely on the scores given by the judges. Ballot papers would be handed out on the day of TEEN INVASION '12 and the procedure would be explained by the compere.The finalists would be encouraged to bring their own supporters.
