Ralphs, the largest big match tent in Senanayake history took over the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo with astonishment for the second consecutive year on the 24th of March 2018, elevating the crowd and the amuse from where they left at the first ever Ralphs Tent that was born under the gleam of the Golden Jubilee.

D.S Senanayake College engendered a new standard in the March Madness at the One Day Encounter of the 12th Battle of the Gold's 2018 against the brother school Mahanama College, by escalating the heights of the Big Match Tent culture with the strength of the Senanayakian brotherhood. Going against the grain, the Dons raised the bar of the conventional split tent tradition and superseded it by creating one tent that is open to all the batches of D. S. Senanayake College. Evincing the affiliation of the Senanayakians, the 'Tent of Unity' showcased that for DS age is just a number when it comes to cheering the school roars as support for their beloved Alma Mater.
The organizers of the Ralphs Tent gave the boys a time of jollity and merriment by presenting the Disk Jockey Clifford Issac who has received colossal feedback from across the globe for his captivating performance which has acquired over 17,000 plays for his mash-ups. Tehan Perera and his killer band HOT CHOCOLATE catered the Ralphs party monsters with Sri Lanka's mandatory heart thumping tunes of the exclusive Papare music. In the midst of delightful food, BBQ and shots, the tent was charmed by the mesmerizing vocal of Chithru who is the Runner-Up at TNL Onstage 2013 - Solo category, the Finalist at the Solo category of Tantalize 2013 and the 2nd Runner-Up on Derana Dream Star Season 6.
The strong companionship of the Dons that is bound by the eternal Love for D.S Senanayake College is truly fascinating and is beyond price. The Ralphs Tent not only acquits as a massive supporting force to the cricket team of Black and Gold but also strengthens the unique fellowship that lives within the batches both new and old. The boys celebrated in high spirit till noon, filling the skies by waving the college colours in support and the amusing Ralphs party concluded as the most lit and happening big match tent ever created by a school.
The fashion of celebrating the March Madness with only your peers and few other batches you know, is gone. In the tent of the Ralphs, you are no longer in an ordinary big match crew. Instead, you truly become a part of the extended family of Dons and the legacy that keeps expanding without a stop.
