Retrova Devi Night 2016 organized by Junior PPA of Devi Balika Vidyalaya was held on 27th of February 2016 from 7.00pm onwards at Water's Edge, Battaramulla.
For those of us who have long since left our school lives behind, there’s nothing quite like reminiscing and catching up with old friends on the years gone by. This was the inspiration behind “Retrova – Devi Night ‘16”, organized by the Junior Past Pupils’ Assocation of Devi Balika Vidyalaya.
Held on the 27th of February 2016 at Waters’ Edge – The View, the event was a 70’s themed dinner dance, hosting over 150 past pupils of their hallowed alma mater. All the while reuniting past Devians, the event also substituted as a fund raiser for the identified development projects of the school and upcoming association projects.
The evening rang with many spectacular attractions such as a special video presentation of the event, outstanding dance performances, a raffle draw with exciting prizes and an open dance floor on which attendees boogied to the catchy tunes of the 70’s.
