'An everlasting rendezvous of talent' - Immortality '19 the Annual English Day of Devi Balika Vidyalaya which is one of the most important event in the school calendar was held on the 11th of September 2019 at the Wimala de Silva auditorium from 8.00AM to 11.00AM.
The English day organized by the English Literary Association is an opportunity given to all devians from grade 6 to 13 to show cast their talents. The theme for immortality '19 was 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. And the event included the story of two pirates running away from their previous lives.

The launching of the Annual Magazine 'Creations' was also a part of the English day which was conducted with the presence of the Principal W.D.P.K Samarasinghe along with Dr. indira Mawella as the chief guest and all the students of the school including the past English teachers.
