Mihisra 2017, The Annual Environmental Day of Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda was held successfully in the school main hall on 21st of February, 2017 from 2.00PM onwards.
"Mihisra 2017", The Annual Environmental Day of Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda was held successfully in the school main hall on 21st of February, 2017 from 2.00PM onwards.
The objectives of the event were to award medals for Environmental Pioneers who passed the Environmental Pioneer Medal, the Green Medal, the Silver Medal, and the Gold Medal respectively and also to award certificates to the winners of "Mihisra '17-Inter-School Arts and Poster Competition. The main objective was to empower the knowledge of young generation on Wildlife conservation based on the theme "Life for Wildlife"
The gathering was inspired by the presence of Prof. Sarath Kotagama along with Environmental Officers of the Central Environmental Authority, The Principal and the staff, teachers and students of the Invited schools, Past Presidents of the School Environmental Society and an audience of over 300 including parents, students and well wishers attended the event.
