The Annual Sports Meet of Ananda College was organized by the Athletic Association of Ananda College and was held on the 25th of February 2018 at the college grounds.
The Annual Sports Meet of Ananda College was organized by the Athletic Association of Ananda College and was held on the 25th of February 2018 at the college grounds.
The Anandians from grade One to Advance Level Classes participated in the sports meet through the houses of Vijaya, Parakrama, Ashoka and Gamunu. The sports meet featured numerous sports activities such as Running, 4X100 and 4X400 Relay events, High Jump, Long jump, Shot put, Discus throw and many more.
There was ample support for all four teams and the support the participants received from their houses was very satisfying. The Drill Display was beautifully done and it pumped the crowd up. The school ground was glamoured with flags swaying in the light blue sky with the house colours cheering the respective houses.
A day's sport concluded and after performing a strong play in all events, House Vijaya was crowned as the winners of the Annual Sports Meet 2018 of Ananda College.
