Scientia '18 - The Annual Science Day of Ananda college was held on 26th of February from 1pm onwards at the Auditorium of University of Colombo School of Computing.
Ananda College held their annual Science Day 2019 ‘Scientia’ on the 26th of February 2019 at the University of Colombo School of Computing Auditorium from 1pm onwards.
The event was graced by the presence of Prof. S R D Rosa of the Department of Physics at the University of Colombo as the Chief Guest. Scientia‘18 paid special attention to the development and innovations of Astro Physics.
A large number of students from various schools attended Scientia‘18 to be enlightened on the subject. Competitions were held between the schools and it was able to add excitement to the event as well as enrich the knowledge of the young students.
Scientia’18 took place under the theme of understanding the movement of bodies which are in the universe with the help of physics that is better known as Astro physics. Astro physics is a branch of space science that applies the laws of physics and chemistry.
The students sure did enjoy the scientific journey organized by the Science Union for the 18th consecutive time and it proved to render an informative experience to all.
