The Silence between the notes “SWARA” was organized by the Past Pupils Association of C.W.W Kannangara Vidyalaya and was held on the 11th of March 2018 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall from 6.30pm onwards. The musical extravaganza presented a line up of A-listed artists in Sri Lanka, promising a night of spectacular tunes and amazing entertainment. The performing artists included the ever loved Bathiya & Santhush, the rock legend Chithral Somapala, the two famous nightingales Nirosha Virajini, Umaria Sinhawansa and the latest upcoming singer Ridma Weerawardena.

The event which was conducted by the well known presenter Narada Bakmeewewa, gifted the crowd with great music to the vibes of Nalaka Sajee’s band. Swara 2018 of C.W.W Kannangara Vidyalaya also staged a special guest appearances from the comedian duo Chuti malli and Podi malli which added an extra touch to the fun filled evening bringing laughter to the whole arena.
