Born in Los Angeles, California, Kenny had often been told he bore a striking resemblance to the King (of Pop) himself. Eventually, he would go on to make commercial and personal appearances as a Michael Jackson impersonator. In addition to his features, Kenny managed to mirror his idol down to his iconic dance moves and even performed his own vocals, a notion uncommon among celebrity impersonators who usually lip sync. It was these unique traits that booked Kenny many shows around the US, Europe and Asia.
Produced by DK Promotions, “Kenny Wizz – Live in Sri Lanka” took place on the 29th of May 2016 at the BMICH, Colombo 7. The artist hit the stage with an enthusiasm and skill that took the audience by storm as they sang and bopped their heads along to the music. A wave of nostalgia washed over every audience member as Kenny effortlessly belted out some of the crowd favorites such as Billy Jean, Black or White and Smooth Criminal. By the event’s conclusion, it became safe to assume that Kenny Wizz is one of the best Michael Jackson tribute artists around today.
The show was reviewed a massive success and many praised the efforts by the organizers in bringing together the evening of a lifetime.
