Jay Sean. We know him for his mad vocals, stud looks, and killer performances. He’s one of the only artists of south Asian descent to make it big internationally, and the only male artist in the past 10 years to have two concurrent top 10 tracks. His debut album “Me Against Myself” sold over two million copies across Asia. Throughout the years, Jay’s had multiple chart toppers such as “Ride it”, “Maybe” and “Tonight”. After being signed to Cash Money Records, in 2009 his American debut single "Down" topped the Billboard Hot 100, making him the first solo artist of South Asian origin to top the Hot 100, selling more than three million copies in the United States that year. And now, he’s here, in Colombo!

Back in the day, Jay Sean’s music caught the attention of a producer putting together a groundbreaking project, fusing traditional Punjabi music and contemporary Pop/R&B. As soon as the single dropped, Jay became the face and voice of a new generation of music.
He debuted in the Asian Underground scene as a member of the Rishi Rich Project with “Dance with You”, which reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart in 2003. This led to him being signed to Virgin Records and having two UK top 10 hits as a solo artist in 2004: “Eyes On You” at number 6 and “Stolen” at number 4. Jay is now signed to Cash Money Records, where he works with world famous artists such as Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne
Until this day, Jay has upheld one hell of a reputation around the world, and he continues to create blissful music that will blow your mind!
