SQUARE WAVE - The Biggest Rock Concert in Kandy

“Square Mobile” starts its journey as an enterprise mobile application developing company in Sri
Lanka, with eight undergraduates of local universities. As undergraduates we are proud to say
that we have won several awards both national and international level under the theme of mobile
web development. Our company won the Etisalat-appzone championship 2011 (Intra University
Level) and we got selected as finalist in M-billionth 2011, New Delhi, India and special merit
award in e-swabhimani National awards in 2011. We have Comviva as our first international
partner and currently we have developed innovative mobile applications and we have started
developing enterprise apps for our customers. When we turn back, we as a new company did a
tremendous job and achieved standard achievements.
As a young team with young and new ideas, we thought of organizing an event under a different theme. The main purpose is to promote the “Square Mobile” name among young people. Along with the entertaining music, Square Mobile can celebrate its very first anniversary. For that, we will be giving our clients and fans a good time of enjoyment with well known, young, upcoming bands that got a very good fan base throughout the country. On 07th of July Etheral, Crywolf, Roadkill, will be the bands to perform and we have invited a solo artist, Shehara Jayathilaka as well. The theme of this concert is bit different than common music concerts. Since we have a lot of young people around us we are hoping to give a different experience for all with rock, acoustic and metal music. Especially, this will be a new experience for Kandy people as this will be the first biggest rock show for the first time in Kandy.
“Square Wave “will be held on 7th July 2012 at Queen’s hotel from 5.30 onwards. The tickets for the event have been priced as Rs 1000.00 and those who are interested can buy their early bird tickets at Rs500.00 till 1st of July 2012.Tickets at the entrance will be Rs 1000.00 and number of seats are limited. The tickets can be collected from Vijitha Yapa Book shop at Kandy City Center, Odel Showroom at (Kandy City Center and LuvSL branch )and Samudra Book shop at Kurunagala or contcat Asanka on 071-843-9333 .
