The third Electrical and Electronic Engineering Research and Project Symposium ( EEERaPS) organized by the Peradeniya University Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department was held on 5th of September 2016 from 10am onwards at Waters Edge, Battaramulla.

The theme of the EEERaPS Symposium was Research and Development-Path to National Development. The chief guest of the event was Public Enterprise Development Minister Kabir Hashim who is also alumni of the Peradeniya University.

The event showcased novel and cutting edge locally developed innovative solutions that add to the engineering sphere. Leading industrialists participated at the event with the University’s engineering department personals to adopt novel methods to revitalize their businesses.
