12th August 2011, The International Youth Day, was special to Sri Lankan youth than the other, since more than 1500 youths from all around the country gathered to the University of Colombo grounds to form the word âYOUTHâ to make a Guinness World Record.
5 Global Change Makers of British Council, with the help of around 150 volunteers and in association with almost all leading youth associations, succeeded in setting the Guinness World Record and everyone was with their hearts full of joy by sunset.
