The Second Practice Debate of Sri Lanka Model United Nations was held on the 19th of August 2017 at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology.

A Model United Nations Conference requires much research and preparation. Confidence comes after thorough preparation, but how does a delegate know if they are prepared enough?

To enhance the skills of the delegates, to make them more confident and prepared, to ease those nerves and jitters before the conference- that's the point of a Practice Debate!

Delegates from all over Sri Lanka participated in this, taking home an extra dose of courage after meeting their Chairs, clarifying their doubts and participating in a pre-simulation of the conference.
