Years of commitment and dedicated hard work indeed calls for celebration as all the sleepless nights pay off when you finally get your prestigious cloak and hat on. Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology thus held their 2017 Convocation ceremony in a very grand and classy manner, celebrating the success of many more graduates. The ceremony was organized into two days, the 2nd and 3rd of March 2017, obviously due to the massive crowd of proud degree holders.
The ceremony was held at the Malabe Campus premises itself on both the days from 8.00 a.m. onwards, while the first day of the Convocation was graced by the presence Hon. Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The second day of the ceremony was graced by his Excellency Maithripala Sirisena while the President also presented the awards to the proud students who have shown outstanding performance. Many other distinguished guests and faculty, including the Chairman of SLIIT, Professor Lakshman L. Ratnayake and Managing Director, Professor Lalith Gamage participated in the event to witness and share the pride and happiness as they equally were partners of this amazing journey.
